Message in a bottle?

Beachcombing is a great recreational activity in looking for and finding various curiosities that have washed in with the tide: seashells of every kind, fossils, pottery shards, historical artefacts, sea beans (drift seeds), sea glass (beach glass), driftwood, and perhaps even messages in a bottle.

Be Cautious

As with all activities at the beach. Be cautious, something that might not look alive could still very well be. Note also that beachcombing is not a licence to harvest quantities of any particular item. For example we are sure your budgie might appreciate a small piece of cuttlefish but taking bucket loads of cuttlefish is a no no.
