Open Beaches
Many local beaches are ‘open beaches’ which are unpatrolled. Quite often you will only see a handful of other people on the day. These two facts mean you should take extra precaution when swimming and cannot rely on others to assist should you get into trouble.
Between the flags at Seaspray
THE most popular summer activity and usually the number one reason people flock to the local beaches, is swimming. The ninety mile beach is just that, 90 miles long and a big attraction is the fact that you can often find a spot where there are no other people in sight. However, we strongly recommend that you ONLY swim between the flags at a beach that has surf life saving guards in place such as Seaspray which is less than 15 minutes from Barooma Homestead.
